PROJECT PROPOSAL

Your name: EXAMPLE

CLIENT:
I have been commissioned by Elle Magazine to shoot two double page spreads of fashion for
their next issue. Their theme is winter, for the December issue, and the feel that they are
looking for is cool and frosty.

RESEARCH:
Initial research has included
visual references (list magazines)
well known photographers (list photographers)

I am also researching the (technical) techniques that I will need for the shoot:

STUDIO:
I have booked the studio for (date) for my shoot.
In the studio I will be using (list camera equipment) and (list lighting).

I will need a range of models/clothes/hair/make up for my shoot:
Coats, scarves, ear warmers, leg warmers, gloves , hats.
I will also need:
Background: pale blue colorama
Props: mirror, fake snow, glass icicles

I have decided to use cool colours, mirrors and glass to convey a feeling of calm, coolness, and
evoke the atmosphere of a snowy morning.

This is an example of how you might write your proposal, and you are expected to change it for
your own brief.
