TRAINING PROGRAM

You will learn how to handle the network objects and the processing of demand matrices. Moreover, operating
various graphical analyses and evaluations is in the focus. We will acquaint you with the description of procedure
sequences including the procedures for private transport assignment as well as a common procedure for public
transport assignment. We will use the PTV Visum Scenario manager to illustrate how to construct a base scenario
and multiple planning scenarios and how to work with these scenarios.

The PTV Visum introductory course addresses to transport planners with academic professional knowledge in the
fields of transport planning and engineering or with practical experience in traffic and transport expertise. To
specialist engineers, this training course provides an introduction into the PTV Visum practice for efficient
processing and evaluation of traffic studies by means of a standard software.

1. Cost: The cost of the training is Euros 600 (AED 3000) per person per day. Hence the total
training cost is Euros 1,800 (AED 9000)
2. Discounts: Customers with active software maintenance contract 2014 for Visum or Vissim
with PTV Middle East are eligible for a discount of the total training fee. PTV software
training vouchers issued by PTV Middle East are eligible for this training.
3. Right of cancellation: If a participant wishes to cancel the confirmed registration, he/she
will be liable for 100% of the paid fee. Alternatively, a substitute participant can be provided.

Registration Process
Please fill out page 1 until 4 and send it back to us ASAP. Please fill out one form per participant.
Training registration will be running Saturday, June 21, 2014. As available spaces are limited,
we encourage early registration. Once we receive your registration form, we will issue an invoice
that needs to be paid in full prior to us confirming your seat. The fee for the training course
includes attendance, lunch, refreshment breaks, documentations and training software.

Computer Requirements
Participants are required to bring their own laptops (basic specifications: Microsoft Windows 7
or XP, 2GB of hard disk space, 1GB RAM, processor speed of 2GHz or higher; no Mac Books),
and video card (desirable but not required). PTV Vissim license is provided by PTV.

Venue Information
The Venue information will be communicated to registered participants only at least one week
prior to the scheduled training date. Participants coming from outside from UAE have to make
their own visa, travel and accommodation arrangements.
