This table shows the enthalpy of some standard at 298K and 1 atm. The table has three
columns. The left hand column present substance, the middle column name of species
substance, the right hand column shows the enthalpy in kj/mol. The data are presented in
an alphabetical order. We can see from the table that an bromine gas has Enthalpy of
111.884 kj/mole. The enthalpy of Bromine liquid is 0 kj/mole, it is lower than the enthalpy of
bromine gas. Br2 which is in a bromine gas has enthalpy 30.91 kj/mole. The enthalpy of
bromine triflouride is -255.60 kj/mole, and the enthalpy of Hydrogen Bromide gas is -36.29
kj/mole. The conclusion that can be drawn from the table is that Br ( Bromine Gas ) has the
highest enthalpy where as Bromine Liquid has the lowest enthalpy among the other
substance.
