2 Objectives and vision of Help The Homeless
====================================

Reduce amount of deaths caused by rough sleeping.
Engage with the homeless and alleviate direct problems proactively (Sleeping
bags, emergency accommodation etc) and facilitate various activities.
Identify various types of homelessness and research effects, vulnerabilities,
potential threats, heath implications etc.
Eradicate Street Homelessness by designing and implementing an affordable
housing scheme and emergency responce policy (N.S.N.O).
Raise awareness publicly via ofine/online campaigns via the internet,
schools & colleges, local press, workplaces etc.
Offer 1-2-1 support and tailor a bespoke care plan to each service user that
engages with the programme that gives skill-sets like tenancy training,
managing nance, condence building, interview skills etc.
Facilitate a managed H.M.O. with fully supported non-priority emergency
accommodation with drop-in services, workshops, training, support,
healthcare, shower facilities, static soup kitchen and out of hours advice.
Identify current problems in Lancashire surrounding homelessness and work
with all third-party sector services that come into contact with service users
who are homeless. (Probation, Treatment Programmes, Social Workers etc).
Distribution of food, outreach support, housing advice and emergency
accommodation via a mobile soup kitchen covering the North West.
Work alongside all homelessness sector professionals, mental health,
healthcare, social care, councils, projects and private interventions, local
charitable services and businesses creating partnerships to reduce
homelessness.
Create a central communications platform to cross-reference information with
all partners. (Database, Email, Website, Monthly meetings, Mobile
Application).
Create a directory of all services and help available (Both online and printed).
Recycling furniture, mobile phones & computers for those we house and also
holding workshops for personal development, training and employment
opportunities.
Raise funds to facilitate the voted project ideas suggested by the board.
To form a regulated structure for local H.M.O.s and support services that
comply with national framework standards.
Take weight off emergency services and sign-post to relevant agencies and
services.
Facilitate a freephone emergency phone number for all emergency
homelessness enquiries
Conduct weekly audits to ascertain patterns of homelessness and collate
data and then analyse to conduct direct action plans.



3 Action Plan Suggestions

Brainstorming ideas - Partnerships, Future towns, Fundraising
Research & Development - Scrutinise reports, legislation, projects and form
intelligence and brainstorm possible solutions to service users problems.
(Direct impact services like a 'mobile shower bus) etc.
Scrutinise current dated legislation and form national campaigns to raise
awareness.
Identify challenges to goals and address each one.
Develop CIC to enable us to use prots from projects

Each wednesday were currently operating mobile soup kitchens in Burnley
(7:30pm - Burnley Library Carpark) & Blackburn (8:30pm - Blackburn Fire Station
Carpark)

Next summer (August 2015) well be hosting our rst ever fundraiser festival called
#rooess - Further details T.B.A.
