The SIMATIC Micro Panels can easily
be connected to the S7-200 using a
standard MPI or PROFIBUS DP cable.
In addition, multi-master communi-
cation is possible, i.e.:

Programming/configuring made
easy
SIMATIC STEP 7-Micro/WIN
The configuration data of the
TD 200, TD 100C and TD 200C are
stored in the S7-200 CPU. The mes-
sage texts and configuration param-
eters are generated using the STEP 7
Micro/WIN programming software.
Additional parameterization soft-
ware is not required.
For data exchange with the
TD 200, TD 100C or TD 200C, special
data areas are reserved in the CPU
of the S7-200. The TD 200, TD 100C
or TD 200C access the respective
required functions and data of the
CPU over these data areas. The com-
plete configuration is therefore
stored in the data memory of the
CPU. The customer-specific operator
interface of the TD 200C is config-
ured with the support (TD Keypad
Designer) of a Micro/WIN V4.0 wiz-
ard.
SIMATIC WinCC flexible
A separate low-cost engineering
package of WinCC flexible is offered
for configuring the OP 73micro and
TP 177micro: WinCC flexible Micro.
Of course, the Compact/Stan-
dard/Advanced versions, which per-
mit the configuration of further
operator devices from the HMI prod-
uct range right up to the PC, can be
used as well.
Simple and fast configuring via
clearly structured user interfaces,
ready-to-use graphic objects, intelli-
gent tools for graphical configura-
tion (e.g. creating links between
graphics using the drag-and-drop
feature), as well as support with
multi-language configurations.
A PC/PPI adapter cable is required for
downloading the configuration.
