WHEREAS, the implementation of the BUB is one of the major instrumentalities in
attaining the Philippine Development Plns goal of inclusive growth and poverty reduction and
promoting good governance at the local level!
WHEREAS the "unicipality of Boliney #$ra is one of the 12%% &'Us in the entire
Philippines identified as recipients of the 2014 Bottom(Up Budgeting program of the national
government!
WHEREAS, the municipality of Boliney #$ra proposed to the Deparment of )ourism
*D+), the improvement of Bani -ot Spring *.onstruction of /iewdec0 and .oncrete Pathway
with 1ailings, worth +ne "illin and 2ight -undred )housand Pesos *P1300000400, as one of its
2014 &ocal Poverty 1eduction Projects under the Bottom Up Budgeting Program of the national
government!
WHEREAS, the Department of )ourism approved said project and allocated the amount
of +ne "illin and 2ight -undred )housand Pesos *P1300000400, in its 2014 #nnual Budget as
funding for the improvement of Bani -ot Spring *.onstruction of /iewdec0 and .oncrete Pathway
with 1ailings,!
WHEREAS in order to implement the approved BUB Project the "unicipality of Boliney
#$ra and the D+) need to enter into a "+# to define their respective roles duties o$ligations
and commitments therein!
WHEREAS in a letter dated "arch 14 2014 addressed to the Sangguniang Bayan -on4
Benido &4 Balao(as Sr re5uested for a resolution authori6ing him for and in $ehalf of the
"unicipality of Boliney #$ra to enter into a "+# with the D+) for the improvement of Bani -ot
Spring under the 2014 Bottom(Up Budgetting!
WHEREAS, the &ocal 'overnment Unit of Boliney #$ra will $e represented $y its &ocal
.hief 27ecutive -onora$le Benido &4 Balao(as Sr4! upon the authori6ation of the Sanggunian
pursuant to Sec4 488 *$,*l,*vi, of the &ocal 'overnment .ode of 1991!
WHEREAS, noting the importance of the program this Sanggunian is in unanimous
accord to authori6e the &ocal .hief 27ecutive to enter into a "emorandum of #greement with the
D+) for the implementation of the improvement of Bani -ot Spring *.onstruction of /iewdec0
and .oncrete Pathway with 1ailings,4
NOW THEREFORE on motion of -on4 Dominador :4 Sianen with the unanimous accord
of the mem$ers of the Sangguniang Bayan present B2 :)!
RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED $y the Sangguniang Bayan in session
assem$led to authori6e -on4 Benido &4 Balao(as Sr4 to enter into a "emorandum of #greement
