The Duties of the job include:
To develop and co-ordinate the delivery of high quality training, assessment and verification across the Construction Sector in both Craft and Mechanical trades. To work closely with the Sector Director and Team Leaders to support the development of the sector in the design and implementation of new learning services both funded and unfunded. To liaise with relevant awarding bodies to ensure our training and learning programmes meet the needs of the customer in terms of content, delivery, location and progression opportunities. To develop appropriate documents templates and resources to support the team in their delivery including use of e-learning platforms. To quality assure the quality of learners experience, in a safe and equitable environment, maximising the timely completion, retention and achievement targets of all learners (success rates). To work closely with the management and assessment team to adhere to all quality procedures to ensure we meet our contractual obligations and provide a high quality service To work closely with the Sector Director to monitor the delivery of training, assessment and verification including: 1. Monitoring assessment practice 2. Sampling assessments decisions 3. Observation of assessment practice 4. Learner and employer interviews 5. Ensuring all assessments are in line with national standards and awarding body requirements 6. Feedback as appropriate

Experience as a Trainer/Assessor in the Construction sector Experience of delivering successful apprenticeship, work based and adult learning provision. Experience of successful delivery of programmes for the unemployed and community provision. Experience of working as part of a team to achieve good success Experience in the delivery of teaching and learning or training with young people and adults
