(St.

Augustine Church, Barberton, OH)

(June 29, 2014)
Sts. Peter & Paul Apostles
Today we celebrate the combined feast of Saints Peter & Paul. Each joyously and fearlessly
followed the guidance of the Holy Spirit in spreading the Gospel. Pope Francis reminds us to let
nothing rob us of the joy and hope of the Gospel! Then with joy and confidence be contagious
carriers of the Gospel to others. Begin at home.

324 Holy Hours were kept with Our Lord in Eucharistic Adoration last week.
A special thank you is extended to all the Men who adore at night. St. Peter
Julian Eymard (1811 to 1868) Today more than ever have we the need of men
who, by their self-immolation, disarm the anger of God inflamed by the ever
increasing crimes of nations. We must have souls who by their importunity re-
open the treasures of grace which the indifference of the multitude has closed. We
must have true adorers; that is to say, men of fervor and of sacrifice. Without the
men who adore at night, we would never be able to have perpetual adoration. Please
call to speak with one of our night adorers... For additional information contact Judy
Soltis at 330-212-0926.
In the second collection today, we are supporting the Holy Father in his charitable works. The Peters
Pence Collection is taken up worldwide to support the most disadvantaged: victims of war, oppression,
and natural disasters. This is an opportunity to join with our Holy Father, Pope Francis, and be a witness
of charity to our suffering brothers and sisters. Please be generous.

The FEST Join us for The Fest on Sunday, August 3. The day is filled with great national
Christian artists (Third Day, Mandisa, Colton Dixon and for King & Country) and engaging family
activities. If you ask anyone who has ever come to The FEST, they will tell you that the best part, is the Mass at the
end of the day when 20,000+ come together as one at the Table of the Lord. The Feast of Corpus Christi this
weekend reminds us of the blessing of the gift of the Eucharist. It is the source and summit of the life of the Church.
The outdoor Mass at the FEST will be your best part of summer. Go the The FEST website to learn more about the
14th Annual Catholic Family FESTival. Its a great day of faith, family and fun. Its a day of inspiration and will be the
highlight of your summer all for FREE. For a schedule, parking information and all the details go to: www.the
FEST.us.
