Abstract
The major purposes of this study were to explore the effects of integrating life
education into picture books group guidance project on childrens death attitude. To
examine possible effects, a quasi-experimental research design with pre and post test
was performed. There were 16 elementary school students participated in this study.
Both experimental group and control group were received Children Death Attitude
Scale before the experiment. The 8 subjects in the experiment group were arranged
to attend 4 weeks period experiment with 8 treatments; while the 8 subjects in the
control group received no treatment. Within one week after the experiment, both
experimental group and control group were received posttest. The results of the study
were: 1. After the experiment treatment, the experiment group perceived significantly
lower in death attitude than the control group. 2. The experiment group perceived
significantly lower in death attitude of fear, sadness and worry than the control group;
however, there was no significant difference between two groups in avoidance.
