S. # ADP # Project Cost Remarks Reasons for Delay Way forward 1 628 Culture Tourism Centre/Artisan Village at Gor Khattree. 82.900 DFC however, against released amount of Rs. 37.610 M, only an expenditure of Rs.2.500M (7%) has been reported. 1. The scheme was approved at a cost of 82.9 million on 22-12-2011 with completion date of 21-12-2014. Expenditure upto June 2013 is 45 million
2. Food stalls and marketing center couldnt be established. Similarly the training of artisans is pending due to non-handing over of premises from local Government to Archaeology Department .
3. Civil society and Local community need to be taken on board to establish an Artisan Display centre. However, the site is ancient and it requires slow movement. We may continue it till Dec, 2014 to house artisans in Gor Khuttree and established food Street through cost neutral extension 638 Restoration & Rehabilitation of Fire Brigade Building at Gor- Ghattree. 15.000 DFC but the department reported that due to technical problems the project is not likely to be completed. 1. Released Amount is 9.00 million and expenditure is 1.0 million 2. These are 100 years old garages hosting 100 years old fire engines, therefore the work is slow. The Scheme has to be extended by One year in order to restore it as per Original Construction
3 639 Institution/Capacity Building of Directorate of Archaeology & Museum Department, Peshawar. 12.580 DFC however, against released amount of Rs. 7.580 M, an expenditure of only Rs.1.000M (13%) has been reported. The scheme was supposed to hire experts in Archaeology to facilitate conservation. Unfortunately there is dearth of technical hands in conservation therefore the scheme would have to be carried forward without any further funding. As conservation work is slow this scheme may need cost neutral extension for one year.

5 645 Promotion of Archaeological Activities in the Province. 10.000 DFC however, against released amount of Rs. 3.500M, an expenditure of only Rs.0.500M (14%) has been reported Scheme includes Printing of Publicity material and visits by Students of various educational institutions to Archaeological sites It is planned to take the students of educational institutions to the archaeological sites during summer vacations hence need six months extension. 6 655 Reconstruction of old pavilion at Qayyum Stadium, Peshawar (Phase- II). 164.306 Against released amount of Rs. 30.000 M, an expenditure of only Rs.0.750M (2.5%) has been reported Scheme is being implemented by C&W department and is being delayed due to non- appointment of supervision Consultant. (at 3 % of project t cost) In the pre PDWP meeting the C&W department has been directed to hire the consultant. Action pending on part of C&W department.
7 661 New Establishment of Playgrounds in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on need basis 100.000 The department included the project at a cost of Rs.100.000 million with Rs. 40.000 m as allocation for CFY. The PC-I was approved for Rs. 2268.000 million. Need substantial additional funding. The scheme has been approved by the CM on a summary. It includes the land acquisition for establishment of Play grounds (Rs 1.6 billion) This scheme has been approved by the PDWP as well as the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhunkhwa on a summary. However only Rs 20 million have been released so far. The remaining funds need to be released for private land acquisition
