qualities and a desire to learn, was promoted to a Duty Manager on a casual basis. This
role put me, at the age of 19, in charge of operations of the venue containing 2 bars, 2
bottle shops, a gaming floor and restaurant 2-4 nights a week. Other tasks included
generating daily taking reports, organising promotions and creating staff rosters.
