Industry Skills Councils are:
recognised and funded by the Australian Government
governed by independent, industry led boards
not-for-profit companies limited by guarantee
Specifically, the formal roles of Industry Skills Councils involve:
providing integrated industry intelligence and advice to the Australian Workforce and Productivity
Agency, government and enterprises on workforce development and skills needs
actively supporting the development, implementation and continuous improvement of high quality
training and workforce development products and services including Industry Training Packages.
providing independent skills and training advice to enterprises, including matching identified training
needs with appropriate training solutions; working with enterprises, employment service providers,
Registered Training Organisations and government to allocate training places under the Enterprise
Based Productivity Places Program
Engaging with State and Territory Governments, State and Territory industry advisory bodies and peak
representative bodies in their area of industry coverage.
Industry Skills Councils also play a central coordination role in the National Workforce Development
Fund

(its a real thing, I checked) plus the usual admin and accounting positions which apply to all sectors, of course
(until those posts are taken over by robots).
Wind Power Apparently, the demand for wind power generation is going to take off in the next five years.

management, project management.
E-Commerce & Online Auctions People are increasingly comfortable with buying stuff online. IBISWorld says E-

Environmental Consulting People want to save the environment, or something. I dont know. I havent heard
much about this. Have you? IBISWorld says companies are seeking to reduce their carbon footprints through the
implementation of environmentally friendly practices.
Sample jobs: engineer, biologist, wetland scientist, aquatic scientist, scientist of other sorts, geologist,
hydrogeologist, geophysical technician, compliance analyst, research climatologist.
Biotechnology We like to live, so this industry is probably not going to die any time soon and is only going to get
bigger and bigger. IBISWorld points out that, demand for cutting-edge medicines and treatments will result in
strong growth for the Biotechnology industry.

specialist, research scientist, technical writer.
Video Games Apparently the gaming industry is banking on our continued desire to waste hours and hours of
potentially productive time planting virtual farms, slingshotting birds at pigs, or killing zombies. And it will pay off
as users increase and technology grows.

As you can see the trend of the future industries of the world, so I might do my own industrys
work ,worker and workplace follow the trend of the future industries of the world in next 10 years
because the most successful business or industries have more research which are related to
consumer demand and behaviour. Moreover, They have a good strategies such as good business
plan, How to conduct the risk management and the ways to manage personal work priority and
professional development.
However, the ways of using technologies of my industry should come with the good focus on
environmental controversy such as using carbon tax or carbon credit as in my industry in next 10
years
