X. Background Information:
Helping the community through institutionalization of the various skills training and
livelihood projects is the thrust of the university taking its lead of becoming the center of
development. Thus, the College of Industrial Technology, through the collaborative endeavor of
administration, and faculty spearheaded the training programs and livelihood projects relative
to the technology areas.
Enhancement of their skills, capabilities and competencies is the primordial objective of
the project which eventually boosts their morale and outlook in life.

XI. Project Objectives:
a. To conduct training needs assessment in response to K-12 program.
b. To design training programs based on the needs assessment.
c. To conduct the designed training programs.
d. To upgrade the competencies of faculty and facilitate the TESDA accreditation.
E. To assess the responsiveness of the training programs to K-12.

After the completion of the projects/programs the following outputs shall be realized:
1. Complete trainings of at least 200 teachers.
2. Competency level obtained is utilized for promotion of 20%.
3. 80% of the trained teachers will be NC II level holders in their specialized field.
4. Conducted six training programs.
