Optimize workflow with a cytometer
that brings more to your lab.
Navios* Flow Cytometer
A flow cytometer is an essential tool for clinical diagnosis and
research and can be used in a wide range of applications, from
immunophenotyping to ploidy analysis and GFP expression analysis. It is
a powerful technique for the analysis of multiple parameters of individual
cells within heterogeneous populations. With Beckman Coulters
Navios Flow Cytometer, you get more innovative features, reliability and
performance than any other flow cytometer available on the market today.
From its advance optical design to its powerful software, you can be
assured you are getting a state-of-the-art, easy-to-use flow cytometer for
your laboratory applications.
Enhanced Scatter Detection
The customized forward scatter allows you to achieve the most accurate size
measurement, while our patented electronics provide accurate digital signal
processing at high event rates over a wide dynamic range of fluorescence
intensities. An innovative forward-scatter detector provides relative cell size
and visualization of particles down to 0.404m in diameter. A side-scatter
detector incorporates an independently focused, high-performance photodiode
with electronic attenuation. Six fluorescence detectors provide simultaneous
acquisition of up to six fluorescence signals. The three scalable configurations
allow for the future addition of more lasers and fluorescence detectors as the
applications for complex multi-color flow cytometry expand.
Navios acquires superior data from multiple colors.
Advanced Optical Design
The Navios was built with an advanced optical system to enhance sensitivity
of multi-color assays. Light on the Navios system is preserved at the flow cell
where the fluorescence pickup lens is gel coupled. This method increases the
light collection efficiency by 77%. The emitted light is then focused and captured
onto fiber optics. These multimode fiber optic cables efficiently deliver the light
to the back of the boulevard. The filters are laid out at an optimal 18 degrees
in order to minimize light loss that typically occurs as light is transmitted
through filters. This allows the Navios to provide exceptional
sensitivity and signal to noise resolution even at the last
filter in the array.
Consumer Reliability
Get automated tracking of your samples with the unique
barcode identification system. From aspiration to reporting,
you have assurance your samples are positively identified.
The barcode on your sample is scanned and confirmed
with the Navios software. Now you can easily verify the
carousel number, carousel position and tube label.
Powerful Easy-to-Use Software
The Navios software reports cellular characteristics such
as size, granularity, phenotype and health. Your results
are combined into one automated, customized report with
plots and formulas. A variety of reporting options
is available to facilitate your workflow.
Easy Automation and Integration
The Navios Flow Cytometer easily integrates with a variety of automated preparation
devices available from Beckman Coulter or devices from other laboratory
manufacturers to make your daily work faster and more efficient. All Navios flow
cytometers are LIS-ready; you get a complete sample in/result out solution for
your clinical laboratory. You can be assured of secure, high-throughput results,
even at the highest volumes.
Easy-to-Use
LEDs on the dashboard clearly indicate instrument status that you can see
from across the lab. If you do need assistance, help is available 24-7. With our
PROService remote diagnostic capabilities youll get highly-qualified service
and support personnel to review your instrumentations status, troubleshoot any
issues, and resolve any problems, so your Navios Flow Cytometer is working at
peak performance at all times. Its our commitment to total customer satisfaction.
Solid State Laser Technology
The Navios offers up to three, fixed solid-state dialed lasers. The lasers are
independently focused in the auto-beam tower using an innovative steering
design mechanism that provides optimal excitation at the flow cell for reliable,
high-quality results. Easily interchangeable optical filters facilitate the detection
of a variety of dyes and wavelengths. Advanced electronics provide accurate
and efficient digital signal processing at high event rates over a wide dynamic
range of fluorescence intensities.
