Waqas siddque the co-owner of Nature Explorers, Ex-president of Air University Adventure
Club left to mountains forever. As this news came alot of rumors and talks grew up suddenly.
Nature Explorers is facing hard time. As they were not in a condition to describe the incident so
many people used his death as their own deeds and needs. Waqas had wide experience of
trekking hiking and climbing. He accomplished many long toughest treks along with many
winter survivals. His hiking stamina and will power can never be challenged.
Some Facts should be cleared:

Waqas was leading the team of Nature Explorers for k2 Base Camp and Gondogoro la
pass trek from Islamabad but this trek was supervised under highly trained, licensed, and
professional guide who has been operating his services for K2 summits in Sakardu to
local and foreigner groups for more than 10 years.
On 25th June at 6:00 am Waqas along with his 12 members succeeded in attempting the
Gondogoro la pass including a female participant under the supervision of their guide and
the highly skilled rescue workers, porters who were at the top to assist them. Though
some of the members thought to back out but it was Waqas whose courageous and
motivated nature convinced many others to attempt it. While descending down the pass
ropes were being fixed but Waqas thought to move on and meanwhile he accidentally
slipped his foot, lost his balance and fell down. Ishaq (guide) told us that I heard him
saying ALLAH HO AKKBAR, When I approached him he was alive He recited
KALMA E SHAHDAAT and he went into the blessings of ALLAH PAK forever.
Except for Waqas not even a single person got an injury and they were all safe and sound.
Before you mention the technical errors we being Muslims believe that the beginners
safely descended but it was only the experienced one who had to give his life there only
because TIME of Death and Place is already decided on the day when all Souls were
born.
Around 2-3 people die in these passages annually.

Mountains were his second home. He was brave and he always believed that time of the death
cant be changed, nothing ever weakened his plans. Gondogora la was his dream. He fulfilled his
dream. Waqas and Ghazals continuous efforts has boomed the local tourism alot more in the last
1.5 years. They not only provided a platform to people for Hiking, Camping, Trekking but also
created a homely and friendly environment for families to enjoy the most relaxing leisure and
sight seeing tours. They were hard working brought up their company to the highest level in very
less time. Many people eyes were on them. I have seen his love for mountains, carrying 30 kg

and climbing mountains like Mazeeno Base Camp, Ratti Gali Lake Trek, Nanga Parbat Base
Camp, Chitha katha Lake trek and so many other toughest treks. His adventure life carrier was
started back in 2010 and ever since he was always busy practicing his passion in mountains. He
was protector, friend and a true leader. Every story has two sides positive and negative which
