Notes for overseas students
The fee mentioned in this package are valid only if you get membership at your Indian address. However you may appear in AMIE
examinations at your overseas centre(Qatar, for example) by choosing examination centre as "Qatar" while filling examination form.
If you want getting membership at your overseas address then you have to apply yourself. For information contact at your overseas centre.(Fee
is 250 $ for getting membership).In this case, you may join our regular postal coaching separately.
ELIGIBILITY & AGE
Intermediate/10+2/B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with 45 % marks in aggregate and 45% aggregate in PCM and passed in
English. Minimum age should be 18 years at the time of applying.

PROSPECTS AFTER A.M.I.E.

• After passing Section A and B of the Institution Examination you will become Corporate Member of the Institution of
Engineers(I).Now you can designate yourself as a “ Chartered Engineer”.
• You may appear in GATE Examinations(conducted on second Sunday in February, notification in Times of India in
October) for M.E./M.Tech. courses • After passing AMIE Examinations you may appear postgraduate Diploma
examinations conducted by The Institution of Engineers(India), Kolkata. Presently these Examinations for Postgraduate
Diploma are scheduled at five centres, namely, Kolkata , Chennai , Nagpur, Delhi, and Hyderabad. These examinations
are conducted in April and October• You may now work as a Consultant in respective engineering field • You may sit in
various competitive examinations viz. IES, IAS , MBA, and many more • You may get promotions in many Government
/Private/Public sector departments • You may apply for superior posts.

We offer a MEMBERSHIP PACKAGE for those 10+2/Graduate who intend to become member of The Institution of Engineers(India) in order
to appear in AMIE Examinations. If you intend to become member of The Institution of Engineers(India) to appear in AMIE Examinations ,then
you may join this special package. In this package we will give you single window service in getting membership for appearing in AMIE
examinations along with coaching material for preparation.
Under This Package
) After receiving your form(enclosed) with the requisite fee, we will send you a membership form with a sample form, syllabus & rules &
regulations booklet. We will also send you coaching material(with evaluation programme) for Section A(Non diploma stream) for ALL
FOUR SUBJECTS (new scheme) of your choice. You can start studying these subjects soon after getting our course.
) You will have to fill membership form and send the form to us by regd. post/courier/speed post.
) After receiving this form, we will get it attested, thoroughly check it, enclose a demand draft of Rs. 4800/- (membership fee + membership
pack fee). We will make this demand draft and send it to The Institution of Engineers(India), 8, Gokhale Road, Kolkata by regd. post. You
will get membership at your postal address within four to six months. After getting membership, you may appear in AMIE examinations
twice a year(June and December). We will send you latest information about AMIE Examinations & other activities, frequently.
