During the year, we pride ourselves on community service and helping those in need by participating in events such as Relay for Life and organizing trips to homeless shelters to provide medical care to those in need. Honors Students Association August 2011-present I am a second year inducted member in HSA. I attend all meetings and social events that try to help other students gain info about the association. I am on track to get the 18 honors credits necessary to receive the Honors Medallion (Phi Eta Sigma) Freshman Honor Society March 2012-present A prestigious FSU freshman honor society whose main goal is to branch out to rural schools in Tallahassee and help mentor, tutor, and teach underprivileged kids which will raise the literacy rate and the number of college bound students in country. KT (Phi Kappa Tau) Fraternity Fall 2011-present We hold chapter meetings once a week and discuss future events that can better help the community and other kids around the world. Our philanthropy in called Dancing with the Greeks, where we raise money for Hole in the Wall Camps, which is a camp that allows children with terminal illnesses to go to camp.
