At Suffolk University, going through the motions isnt going to get it done. Bad
news for the all-too-typical daydreamer with his head in the clouds. But good news
for the hard-working self-starter with his eyes on the prize. The fact is, whether
you burn to be an interior designer, an entrepreneur, or a cancer researcher,
Suffolk can help you set the world on fre. For more information, visit suffolk.edu

John Drew was a classic have-not. He was born on the wrong side of the tracks and raised in a
housing project. But he graduated from Suffolk University in 1976 and went on to become
President and CEO of Action for Boston Community Development, an organization dedicated
to fghting poverty. Not surprisingly, the government shutdown affected John`s constituency more
than most. So he raised his voice on behalf of those who have no voice, and he didn`t mince words.
John is just one of many Suffolk graduates making a profound difference in people`s lives. And
until everyone gets the message, we refuse to keep quiet. For more information, visit suffolk.edu

For most students, the goal upon graduating college is to make money. But for a select
few, the goal is to make waves. Thus the tremendous appeal of Suffolk University. Our
commitment to fghting social injustice and challenging the status quo is unparalleled. Two
cases in point: Suffolk Law students are active participants in court cases involving issues
like housing discrimination and civil rights. And a signifcant percentage forgo the private
sector for rewarding careers in public service. For more information, visit suffolk.edu

Most Suffolk students cannot count on an inheritance. Nor can they rely on an
infuential parent to pull strings on their behalf. But they can rely on a work ethic
fueled by passion, grit, and determination. Which is both recognized and appreciated.
In fact, employers in the region maintain that Suffolk grads are the best to hire.
