National Select 7on7 Championship Series

Marietta, GA The Georgia Qualifier for the National Select 7on7 Championship Series
will take place July 11-12 at Lassiter High School in Marietta, GA. The Georgia Qualifier is
always an exciting tournament filled with extremely talented teams and players.

The Georgia Qualifier will begin on July 11, with all 30 teams participating in pool play. The
second day of the tournament, July 12, will consist of bracket play, which includes winner
and loser brackets, between the teams. The tournament will end with a championship
game in which the winner qualifies for the National Championships in Hoover, AL.

This years tournament includes several of the very best high school football programs
from the state of Georgia, which annually puts out many of the nations best players and
teams, said Lassiter Touchdown Club President Bob Penter. Additionally, we have been
fortunate enough to include a number of other elite programs from throughout the
Southeast, including last years Alabama State Champion, Hoover High School.

The teams participating in the Georgia Qualifier are: Alpharetta, Benjamin E. Mays,
Centennial, Chattahoocee, Cherokee, Columbus, Creekview, Eastside, Grayson, Heritage,
Hillgrove, Hoover, Jackson County, Jefferson, Jonesboro, Kell, Lassiter, Lovejoy, North Cobb,
North Paulding, Northview, Rabun County, Shaw, Shiloh, South Cobb, South Forsyth,
Valdosta A, Valdosta B, Villa Rica, and Whitefield Academy.

7on7 football is fast, exciting, highly competitive, and is an outstanding way to bring
summer conditioning to its conclusion. Anybody that has had an opportunity to watch
some of the games, has come away with a new appreciation for the amazing athletes and
coaches in the region, said Penter.

The Georgia Qualifier is one of the 10 National Select 7on7 Qualifiying Tournaments to be
held this summer. The winner from each tournament qualifies to play in the National Select
7on7 Championships in Hoover, AL July 17-19.
