Step 1 and 2: Introduction

The career that I chose after the career test was Character animation and animated film making.
Step 3: Universities or institutes which impart it (tariff, scholarship
available).
Gobelins: it is a Parisian school dedicated to the visual arts.
Tariff: 6,500 per year (5.07350956 million Chilean pesos)
Scholarship available: GOBELINS does not offer formal scholarships.
Requirements: 25 years old maximum, Speak French, Excellent drawing skills, Creativity.
Step 4
Curriculum important subjects
Animation drawing; Character and background design; Animation; Film direction; Researching colors,
light and atmosphere analysis; Specific techniques to 3D; Sound design and the sound production
chain; Special effects and compositing; Every-day English adapted to the professional world;
Screenplay writing, dividing the film into sequences; character definition and characterization; graphic
and sound design; storyboarding; production planning; Short film production.
Graduate percentage
Of the 25 students who graduated from Character Animation and Animated Film Makings
program between July 1, 2011 and June 30, 2012, 53% completed "on-time" (on their expected
graduation date). 81% completed the program within three months of their expected graduation date,
and 90% completed the program within 6 months of their expected graduation date.
Step 5: Workplace
Career opportunities are 2D Animator, 3D Animator, Graphic design, Storyboarder, Layoutman,
Decorator, Compositing operator. Multimedia artists and animators held 66,500 jobs in 2010. In 2010,
59% of workers were self-employed. They often work from home. Some work in motion picture or video
game studios.
Step 6: Salary
The median annual wage of multimedia artists and animators was $58,510 in May 2010. The
lowest 10% earned less than $33,840, and the top 10% earned more than $99,830.

1. Yes, I think that is very important because each day globalization incorporates us into
international markets where people speak English.

effects postproduction for tv, series, commercials spots and movies)
5. I am currently focused in my degree so I'm not working now but when I was working it was from
10 am to 7 pm.
6. As I said, Im working in my degree now but I really liked when I worked at Libelula post.
7. Of course, you just have to proposed to yourself that objective as a goal and do everything to
achieve it, but it is essential to know English and to have a solid foundation in film animation.
