Quarter Offering Statements

Our financial secretaries have prepared the 2
nd
quarter statements which are
ready for you to pick up on the Welcome Center tables. Since this is the first
statement to reflect your Rise Up and Build contribution, please carefully review
the data. Any discrepancies, questions or concerns should be addressed to either
Alan Bishop, Paul Goerner or Tony Rylander.










Memorial Quilting Ministry Requests Donations of Material for Quilts

Memorial Quilting Ministry is requesting donations of material made
of cotton or cotton/polyester as well as clean cotton and cotton/polyester
sheets, table cloths and blankets. When you are cleaning out your storage
closets, we ask that you think of this ministry. Please leave donations
labeled Quilting Ministry on the buffet just inside the front entrance to the
church. Kaye Ostermann (832-437-6673) will be happy to assist
you. Thank you so much.






Women In Mission Helping the Quilting Ministry

Women In Mission have selected the Quilting Ministry as their
Spring Mission Project this year. We will be making quilting kits. If you would like to help us,
Please come on Monday night, July 7 at 7:00 p.m. upstairs in the sanctuary in the
Classroom to the left; and please bring a pair of sharp scissors and two yards of 44
wide cotton cloth. If you happen to have an 11 or 21 square cutting board and cutter,
Please bring those as well. We hope to see you then. If you have questions, please call Kaye

Special Free Will Offering

Memorial has always had a huge heart for helping those in need. If you are
able, please consider a special offering to help a family whose needs are
great. The Ushers will be available to receive your gift today or you may
contact the office to make other arrangements. In particular, items needed
to setup an apartment would be helpful
(pots/pans/dishes/towels/furniture/etc.)

Memorial is looking for a Director of Youth Discipleship and Worship Assistant

If you know of someone with the following qualifications, please contact
Pastor Davis.

In order of priority:

1. High School Youth
1. High School Youth and Young Adult Discipleship
2. High School Parent Discipleship
3. Family/Youth care/Gathered growth
2. Musical leadership (planning, coordinating, leading) in the following areas in
priority of need:
1. Non-traditional/non-organ music for worship. This would include
proficiency both instrumentally and vocally.
2. Instrumental Coordinator (desired, but not needed)
3. Childrens music ministry (desired, but not needed)
4. *** In any of the above areas, leadership needs to be more than musical proficiency, but also skills and
passion for team building, discipleship development, and missional focus need to be present.***
3. Communications
1. For Worship Planning, Outlines, Slide Design, Social Media, Theme Graphics
4. Needs to be committed to working in/nurturing a discipleship culture that makes mission a priority, especially by
modeling a disciples life to the people of Memorial and the Katy community.
