WHATS ON THIS CD-ROM?
You should have already used the Install.exe file to install the X-Systems

Icon on your PC.

You have seen the Content Disclaimer page. It is a requirement of Abbott Corporate Legal.
Other items on the CD are:
1. CD-ROM Table of Contents (TOC) showing each manual on the CD, plus TSBs, and ISAs.
Each is hyperlinked to the proper location.
2. X-Systems

Service, Operator, and Host Interface RS 232 Manuals. See the CD-ROM TOC
for a complete listing.
3. TSB and ISA Indexes and all TSBs and ISAs in the Lotus Notes TSB/ISA Databases at
processing time are included, and are hyperlinked.
4. Adobe

Acrobat

Reader 3.0 with Search install files for both Windows

3.1 and Win 95.

Each of the manuals contain:
1. An opening page with:
a. Abbreviated TOC hyperlinked to each entry on the TOC.
b. CD TOC button to take you back to the CD-ROM TOC.
c. Exit button to leave the CD-ROM.
2. Icons (Buttons) on each page:
a. SEARCH button to allow you to perform word searches on the contents of the entire
CD-ROM.
b. TOC button to take you to the Chapter TOC, then to the Book TOC.
c. GO BACK button to take you back to the previous screen.
3. All internal references have been turned to RED text and hyperlinked.
4. All Table of Contents (which are in black text) are hyperlinked.

Available Indexes:
a. Click on Add...
b. Select the CD drive letter
c. Select the file XS-Index.pdx
d. Click on Open.

type search information, such as assay,

7. This window lists all the documents on the
CD-ROM where the word assay was found.
8. Select the document you want to view, and
click on View.
9. The selected document will open and the
first location of the searched text is
displayed and the searched text (assay) will
be highlighted.
10. Ctrl + U will take you to the next location
where assay was found in that document.
11. Ctrl + Shift + U will skip to the next
document and display the first location
where assay was found.
