VI. Game Mechanics
1. Akayin ang Bulag (Pairs)
Participants are grouped into pairs. Everyone will be arranged in a circle around
the playing field where coded packs are scattered. Among each pairing, one will be
blindfolded and his/her partner will be giving the blindfolded participant a series of
directions to get their balloon which is scattered around the playing field.
REFLECTION QUESTIONS:
What was it like to be the guide, being fully responsible for the safety of your partner?
What do you think was the purpose of this team building activity?
Did you have any difficulty trusting your partner while blindfolded? Why or why not?
Why is trusting your teammates important?
Afterwards, how did it feel when you and your teammate successfully trusted each other to
accomplish something challenging?
How does this relate to being in an orchestra?

2. Gulong bola (Team game)
Participants will be re-arranged into teams of 8 members. Teams will be given 8
bond papers and a ping-pong ball. The group would have to make a bridge using only
their papers and roll their ping-pong balls from the starting position to a cup 30m away.
3. Paint me a picture (Team game)
Teams will be given situations/words/scenes that they have to make a portrait
of using only their bodies.
4. Walang basagan ng egg (Team game)
Teams will be 3 eggs, newspapers, adhesive tape, a length of yarn and some
scrap paper and they have to make sure that when dropped at a height, their eggs
would not crack.
5. Agawang sisiw (2 teams)
2 teams will have to line up with the first persons in the queue facing each
other. The goal of the game is for the first person in the queue should touch the last
person in the opponents queue.
6. Ultimate human higad (party! Party! party!)
Everyone has to line up in one lone line with adjacent legs of two people tied
together. The goal is to walk together and cross a point 50m away.
