Your teacher will introduce each Module to you and provide information on the day to day activities. If you are unsure how to help your student develop a specic concept, remember that your teacher will be hosting regular face"to" face support days, online support meetings, and is always available by phone. Module 1 Fluency with Whole Numbers and Decimals Module 2 Operations and Fractions Getting Started This guide will outline what you will see in each lesson and materials you will need. Use the printed Learning Coach Guides to check o! what has been accomplished, which will help keep you and your child on track. Each day, start by logging into Blackboard. Click on the folder for the module/lesson that is next in your sequence. Once you enter the lesson, a sequence of screens will guide you and your student through the lesson. Math contains many vocabulary words that are probably new to your child. It is important to make sure that students understand the meaning of these new words and how they apply to the math operations and problems. Welcome to Fi fth Grade math! M A t A
