The NYSYLC is an youth led organization that works on improving access to higher education and creating equal
opportunity for immigrant youth, regardless of immigration status, through leadership development, organizing and
advocacy.
Outreach to students and student organizations in City University of New York (CUNY) campuses.
Conducted workshops on access to higher education and challenges of undocumented youth to high schools,
community organizations and in college campuses.
Organized demonstrations at Senator Schumers NYC and Washington DC Offices.
Helped organize and be part of a 250 mile walk from New York City to Washington DC and a ten day hunger
strike.

The Restaurant Opportunities Center of New York (ROC-NY) is dedicated to winning improved conditions for
restaurant workers and raising public recognition of restaurant workers' contributions to the New York City.
