Exam Lab TWO (Summation)

Before you begin the lab

1. Ensure the switches have fresh configuration (erased and reloaded).
2. Refer to the diagrams on page 3 and 4 to begin the summation lab.

Global Configuration

3. Assign proper names according to the diagram.
4. Configure the console port on all switches to log input synchronously, not time
out and set the password to c.
5. Configure five telnet ports on all switches to log input synchronously, time out in
15 minutes 45 seconds and set the password to v.

Ethernet / VLAN Trunking Protocol

6. Configure VLAN trunking using 802.1q on the following ports:
RSW1 Fa1/10
RSW2 Fa1/10 - 11
RSW3 Fa1/11
7. Configure VTP mode of all devices to Transparent.
8. Create VLANs according to the diagram.
VLAN 10
VLAN 50
VLAN 100
9. Assign respective VLAN to appropriate switch ports according to the diagram
(access ports).

InterVLAN Routing

10. Configure Switch Virtual Interfaces (SVIs) on all switches according to the
diagram.

Verification Steps

11. From SW1, ping 50.0.3.3. You should be able to successfully ping SW3s SVI.
12. From SW3, ping 50.0.1.1. You should be able to successfully ping SW1s SVI.
13. From SW2, ping SW1s and SW3s SVIs. You should be able to successfully
ping both.
14. Once finished, submit your work accordance to Appendix E: Submitting Your Work
