Local Products
Outside of what you'll find in Super markets and other shops, the original products by the locals are:
ouzo, honey, frozen fish or fresh from the fishing boats (if you be there early) vegetables and olive oil,
one type of which scientists all over the world attribute the long life of the Mediterranean people. Paros
is famous in history for its wine, its taste and its "behaviour" takes your mind directly to the ancient
Greek writing about the "Wine of Gods". Its not easy to find it as its made by the locals in the original
way and with out any additives, its taste mood and energy are the fist impressions.

Getting around Paros couldn't be easier

0 Many agencies hire cars, motorbikes, scooters or bicycles and explore using the tarmac road which takes
1 you all around the island. If you prefer, sit back and enjoy the ride by using the excellent air conditioned
2 bus service, taxis or privately organized coach trips. As you travel you will see tantalizing glimpses of
3
4 village life, beautiful beaches, and on clear days phenomenal views of distant islands as well as our
5 beautiful neighbouring islands of Naxos to the east and Antiparos to the west. A major benefit of having
6 a peripheral coast road circumnavigating the island is easy access to every part of Paros. This enables
7 travelers to discover different places outside the towns and find their own favourite part of the island. It
8 could be a deserted cove, a special tavern, an interesting festival, a small village resort or simply a
9 view that takes your breath away. There is always something new to see and accommodation is never
10 far away. This natural dispersal of travelers means that Paros rarely gives the impression of being
11 crowded.
