Belgrade Documentary and Short Film Festival originates from The Festival of Yugoslav Film, founded in 1953 in Pula, Croatia (back then Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, SFRY). The festival screened both fiction films and documentaries.
The festival celebrated its 50th edition (2003). It has been international since 2004 with International and National Competition as the two major selections. The festival includes a number of side events, film screenings and cultural happenings. Regulations: 1.1. Submission for the festival costs 10 Euros (Ten Euros) per film. The uploaded film must be identical to the film which will be screened at the Festival, if chosen. Producer authorizes our festival and under its supervision, to tape up to two excerpts of maximum 30 sec. length each, which altogether will not exceed 10% of the films length. Whit this application producer confirms that this film was shot between 59th and 60th edition of Belgrade Festival. The producer agrees that film is to be part of the Festival program when committee selects it in the competition program and can have up to five screenings in the program of the Festival. Documentary film cannot be longer than 30 minutes.

Regulations 1. OBJECTIVES The 43rd Tampere International Short Film Festival will take place in March 6.-10, 2013. Tampere Film Festival is a short film festival with an International and National Competition. The association Tampere Film Festival organizes the festival and it receives financial support from the City of Tampere, the Finnish Film Foundation, the Ministry of Education and Culture, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union Mediaprogramme, Promotion Centre for Audiovisual Culture in Finland and other public and private partners. The Festival is acknowledged by the International Federation of Film Producers Association FIAPF/IFFPA and abides by its instructions and regulations. It is a member of the International Short Film Conference ISFC.
2. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS 1. admitted are all films of all genres not exceeding length of 30 minutes. 2. films must have been completed January 1st, 2011 or after. 3. the selection will be made on completed productions only. 4. acceptable screening formats: DCP | Digital file (Apple ProRes 422 or H.264) | HDcam (pal) | DigiBeta (pal) | Beta SP (pal) | Blu-ray (region 0/2, pal) | DVD (region 0/2, pal) 5. films that have been shown or awarded at other international film festivals are eligible. 6. film can be submitted only one time. 7. there are no entry fees. 8. it is up to the applicant to ensure that the preview DVD / Blu-ray is in full working order; unreadable preview discs will not be considered for selection. 9. preview discs will not be returned.
3. SUBMISSION Deadline is December 1st 2012, all required material (entry form, preview discs) must be received by then. Late submissions will not be considered. You have two options to submit your film: A) Tampere Film Festivals online submission (http://submission.tff.fi) 1. Fill in the online entry form 2. Upload at least 1 still photo and complete English dialogue list (in case the dialogue is other than English) 3. Send a preview disc to:

4. SELECTION The final selections will be released online at www.tamperefilmfestival.fi January 31st 2013. The submitters of the selected films will be contacted personally. The screening copies of the selected films must be at the festival office by February 18th, 2013. Films will be electronically subtitled in both Finnish and English. This will, however, only be done if a dialogue list/postproduction transcript has been sent in due time to the film department.
5. RETURN OF THE SCREENING COPIES The screening copies (except for DVDs, Blu-rays and files) will be returned within two weeks after the Festival to the return address given by the lender. The festival must be notified of any changes in the return address before the beginning of the Festival. The Festival will cover return expenses.
6. INSURANCE Festival will insure the screening copies for the whole time of their being in the Festivals possession. The insurance will follow the instructions of FIAPF.
7. JURIES AND PRIZES The organizers will nominate an International Jury of five members. The following prizes will be given to the film directors: 1. Grand Prix: Festival trophy "Kiss" & 5000 for the best film in competition 2. three Category Prizes (fiction, animation, documentary): Festival trophy "Kiss" & 1500 each 3. EFA Tampere nomination according to the regulations set by the European Film Academy 4. Diplomas of Merit 5. Audience award
8. DIGITISED SHORT FILM MARKET The Festival will digitise each submitted film for the Film Market in co-operation with Reelport. All the preview copies are automatically entered in the Film Market and made available for individual viewing for registered professionals only.
9. NON-SPECIFIED CASES The Festival will decide on any cases of doubt, which have not been mentioned in these regulations (in accordance with FIAPF International Regulations). Participation in the Festival implies recognition without reservation of these regulations and the entry form (in accordance with the regulations).

25th Minimalen Short Film Festival

Minimalen is an annual, independent short film event based in Trondheim, Norway. Please note: Submissions are strictly limited to films from the Nordic Countries. Films from the rest of the world are selected by invitation only.
REGULATIONS
NORDIC INDEPENDENT COMPETITION (NIFA) - types: fiction, animation, experimental, documentary (or combinations) - max. runtime: 30 minutes - films completed after 01.01.2011 - screening formats: DCP; 35 mm film; HD file (Quicktime HD with codec Apple ProRes 422, 1080p); Video formats: DigiBeta (PAL), DVD (PAL). - a film can only be submitted once.
For submitted films from Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden and their territories. The organizers will nominate an international jury of three members, and the jury will award NIFA trophies in four categories, along with prize money. The Norwegian films will be screened separately in a special section, and will be subject to additional awards.

RULES & REGULATIONS To submit your film to the Roma Independent Film Festival, please read our eligibility requirements below. Running time for all feature length films must be no less than 75 minutes. Running time for all short films must be no more then 75 minutes. 3. Films/videos must not have received worldwide network television distribution or WEB (including cable and PAY-TV). Competitive entries must not have commercial distribution in Italy to be eligible. 4. Foreign feature or short films submitted to the Festival must be subtitled in Italian OR English if not already an English language film. 5. Entries with prints on 35 mm, Digital Video, Blu-Ray and DCP must be made available for presentation at least two (2) weeks before the festival date. 6. Those selected for screening during the RIFF Awards will be notified at least one(1) month before the event starts by telephone or e-mail. 7. Those selected for the monthly screenings will be notified at least thirty (30) days before the event date by telephone or e-mail. 8. For all the competitions, the project must be an Italian Premiere. 9. Film producers must also agree to include in future promotion material the mention of the participation at the Roma Independent Film Festival, the relevant section and any award received, along with the official RIFF logo, available on the Internet website. The Jury * RIFF AWARD recepients are determined by a jury of professional filmmakers, actors, distributors, agents and journalists. RIFF AUDIENCE AWARD is determined by audience votes. * All awards will be split equally between the director and the production company of the film as shown in the credits.
Invitation and Attendance Directors whose feature films have been selected for competition are invited as participants for 3 days. Room and board in a hotel for only one representative per film will be provided by the festival. Exceptionally, travel costs can be covered.

NEWS: The program of the RIFF 2013 will be enriched by retrospectives and seminars on different aspects of the film industry. At the end of the Festival, the RIFF Awards will be given and they are worth over 50.000 . Also this year Filmmakers will have the possibility to propose their original works as a first-ever preview in the section New Frontiers, dedicated to the first work of an artist, for the last 6 years, the RIFF collects and presents in prime time, works coming from all over the world, giving particular attention to Italian production.
