GREAT EVENTS IN OLTENITA AND IN OUR SCHOOL

Gala Volunteering

The first edition for the Volunteering Gala is organized by the Sport for all Association
Calarasi, Danube.edu and the Sports Club Tai Sabaki .Here it was awarded the best project and the
most energetic volunteers.The ceremony began with a short artistic program supported by the club
members of dance sport Student Sport Bucharest, the Association members Nana Cultural
Foundation,the club sports Tai Sabaki and the band Black and Rossen. A presentation of the
voluntary projects completed in 2012-2013 followed.
Our school wad awared with the second prize in the category "Best Project" and "Best
Coordinator".


Holocaust Day

This events took place on 9 october 2013. The action was held in the high school
cafeteria.Reprezentatives of students helped by the Student Council President,Marius
Dumitrache,presented photographs that illustrate the measures taken against the Jews,life in the
camps.



The city days of Oltenita

Between April 19 to 23 takes place in the center bearing the name manifestation Days of
OLTENITA and in December was inaugurated City rink.

In June 2013 the students involved in the project dedicated to U.S. Flag Day worked in
teams, on the boards or on the model, with combination of watercolor, seeds, recyclable and
environmentally friendly materials.
The projects have been presented at the U.S. Embassy in Bucharest, the school entered a
competition both ingenious and interesting as well as pleasant and relaxing, after which students
have gained knowledge about various life and traditions of the United States of America.





The Flag Day is celebrated in the United States each year on 14 June . Flag history begins in
1777, when the Congress formed the new nation approves First Flag Act , which states that " the
flag of the United States be made of thirteen stripes, alternate red and white , you have the thirteen
stars of the Union , white on a blue background presented further constellation "as Romanian -
portal.com . The thirteen stripes and thirteen stars representing the states of the confederation .

High Technology "Nicolae Blcescu" celebrated its 50th year of existence and has
signed the 5th anniversary edition
December 6th of this year's two holidays twin soul Technology High School "Nicolae
Blcescu" in Oltenia: St. Nicholas Day and the anniversary of 50 years since the establishment of
school. So, Thursday was a day of profound significance, the guests, teachers and students felt very
well, as they also said.
