CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
1. Entries close on 11
th
of August 2014. Late entries will incur a $25 fee.
2. Signing of an entry form binds the Owner/Competitor of the agreement of the conditions of entry and
Competition as printed in the show schedule. Parent or Guardian must sign youth entries.
3. The TCWPC Committee, Show Staff or Giru Polo Cross Club will not be held responsible for any accident,
sickness to any horse, owner, rider, handler or competitor, spectator or property. Horses and those in attendance
at the show, do so at their own risk. There will be a compulsory temporary membership fee of $15 for every non
TCWPC member competing.
4. A Horse Welfare Delegate is appointed for each event. Competitors/participants at any event run by TCWPC
have a responsibility to ensure the welfare of their horses and at all times to treat their horses humanely and with
dignity, respect and compassion. Competitors/participants are to conduct themselves in a professional manner
and act with integrity in all dealings with the Affiliate and other competitors. To uphold the rules and regulations
of the (TCWPC) and the AQHA at all times. Competitors/participants are to demonstrate good sportsmanship
at all times, showing respect for your fellow competitors and officials, following the rules and to treat people the
way you yourself wish to be treated.
5. The TCWPC reserves the right to remove any persons causing interference to others.
6. No alcohol is allowed in, or can be consumed in the marshalling areas, working arenas or show pen/contest areas.
7. The TCWPC has the right to change the program, however full notice will be given. If there are insufficient
entries in any event, the TCWPC reserves the right to cancel the event.
8. AQHA/PHAA rules will apply to both competition and the running of the show.
9. At all AQHA approved shows, on each day of the show, 1 hour prior to the commencement of the show and 1
hours after the cessation of the show, there will be no training equipment allowed in the immediate marshalling
area and the performance area and dress regulations of Cap/hat, long western style pants, safe enclosed footwear
and a shirt with sleeves must be worn
10. Exhibitors shall NOT approach the judge for any reason prior to completion of the judging, unless the exhibitor
has finished exhibiting and the request must be made through the ring steward. No exhibitor will request
information from the Judge, or the decisions made by that Judge, concerning any exhibit at a show, on the day of
the show or within the immediate 7 days following the show.
11. Copies of horse registration papers, current memberships and Amateur Owner permits must be included with
your entry forms
12. No rubbish is to be left on the grounds. No alcohol is allowed in, or can be consumed in the marshalling areas,
working arenas or show pen/contest areas. No campfires or open flames are permitted on the grounds this is
STRICTY prohibited. NO DOGS are permitted onto the show grounds.
13. Stallions are to be secured at all times. Any unwanted / disruptive behaviour may result in a request to leave the
premises.
14. For all Halter Classes 1yr & Under: Yearlings and Weanlings are both eligible to enter based on AQHA age
requirements (See Rule 44. Age Requirements)
15. Youth Classes (18 Yrs and Under) must have parent / guardian signed consent. Must be in appropriate bit for
age of horse Junior Horses (5years and under in snaffle, hackamore or curb), Senior Horses (over 5 years in
bit).
16. For all Open Classes (inc Senior, Junior Horse and Open) the correct rider attire and appropriate tack must be
used.
17. All youth competing or taking part in an AQHA approved event, must have written permission from their
parent/guardian to be at that event as a contestant or participant and in the case of a contest, the
parent/guardian must also sign the entry form. All youth competing or taking part in an AQHA approved event,
must be in the care of a responsible adult who is in attendance for the duration of that event, whilst the youth is
in attendance at that event
18. Refund Policy
1. In the event the show is cancelled a full refund/credit will be given (excluding any admin fees / late entry
fees). If the show is postponed, you must advise the TCWPC within 10 days of receiving notice to
receive a full refund / credit (excluding admin / late entry fees).
2. If a competitor withdraws within 24 hours of an event, a veterinary or medical certificate will be required
to refund nomination fees. If the competitor withdraws prior to this, a refund may be given by cheque or
held over for future events.

The following Tropical Coast Western Performance Club (TCWPC) Conditions of Entry are to be
abided by at all times. This is not a comprehensive list, but a general overview of the main rules and
regulations. This is supplementary to the AQHA Rules
