Malaysian oil recycler opens third treatment
plant
January 28, 2014 by admin in Lubricants, Volume 6 Issue 4.
Malaysian oil
recycler and chemical waste refiner Hiap Huat Holdings Bhd has
launched its third treatment plant, Topmark Petroleum Products
Sdn Bhd, in Pulau Indah to tap the waste oil generated by the
marine sector there and neighboring industries.
Its a move that is expected to double its production capacity.
We worked hard to obtain the approval of the Department of
Environment Selangor to operate a solvent and oil treatment plant
in Pulau Indah. We had big plans for the treatment plant, and we
saw it as an opportunity to expand our operations and services,
said Chairman of Hiap Huat, Zulkifly bin Zakaria.
He said the increased capacity in Pulau Indah will boost the
companys total base oil production from re-refined oils to 30,000
tons a year.
This will make Topmark Petroleum one of the largest recycled
base oil plants in our country, he said.
Hiap Huats finished products include grease, emulsion paint,
primer, wood preservative and engine oil, sold under the brand
names AF1, Top Up, NEKKO, Cap Rumah and Flag.
