Business Spotlight: Kimberly Bond, Gooseberries
Located at California and Chippewa, Gooseberries will carry baked goods, to go food,
and host private parties
Business Spotlight: Ruth Reese, Reese Gallery
Ruth and her husband have been rehabbing 3410 Wisconsin Ave. in Marine Villa
Participating in Open Studios, will have an official opening in August
New Business: South Broadway Lawnmower Repair
[7.15] Guest Speaker: Rhonda Broussard, St. Louis Language Immersion Schools
Chinese and International Schools will be opening at 3740 Marine Ave.,
the former Imagine School
A public charter school, this will bring the total to 3 elementary schools
Jeff Lash, head of International School was in attendance

Guest Speaker: Blaire Hamilton from City of Night
Aug 14-17, 14 and 15 around the City, 16 an art show at the Lemp Brewery

Save the date: Saturday July 19, celebrating new police headquarters at 1915 Olive with
parade and ribbon cutting. Parade begins at Old Police Headquarters at 1200 Clark at
10am, ribbon cutting at New Police Headquarters at 11am, public viewing of building
until 1pm.
Community outreach officer: Safety Outreach Summer- 5 day camp for kids, begins
