These are exciting times for the

Houma Terrebonne Housing Author-

ity. Our newsletter has undergone a
makeover. This is just the beginning
of the efforts to enhance our com-
munication and social services for
our most important asset- Our Resi-
dents. We hope you enjoy the new
look, and stay tuned as we continue
to roll out programs designed to have
a positive impact.
In other HTHA News:
The Houma Terrebonne Housing
Authority will never compromise
the safety of our residents. Our ef-
forts to help protect our families now
include the installation of sixty (60)
new surveillance cameras to the Sen-
ator Circle and Bayou Towers sites.
The new equipment should allow for
complete surveillance of both prop-
erties. Recordings will be reviewed
daily.
Guests are welcomed at HTHA but
remember, Tenants Head of House-
holds are permitted only 14 overnight
guest stays per year by persons not
listed on the dwelling lease. Investi-
gations into violators are on-going so
please follow this important rule.
Terrebonne Opportunity Now,
HTHAs self-suffciency initiative,
is beginning to take shape. We need
your help to tell us what programs
and services you would like to see
in place. Please return any surveys
you receive about the program to the
Senator Circle offce.
If you have any questions please do
not hesitate to contact me at 985-
