ORIOLES MANAGER BUCK SHOWALTER:

On the four big plays in that first inning to get quickly them out of it

I was actually just thinking about that, you beat me to it. Chris [Davis] made a big play there and about [Chen] made
athletic plays that most pitchers dont make. It makes a big difference. Things you work on all spring and you dont think
they carry over but they do but its got a lot to do with [Chens] talent. He made a great play there at the plate.

On Wei-Yin Chens glove flip play to Caleb Joseph

You know they actually practice that play in the spring. Its one of those things that sometimes people think youre just
killing time with pitchers but when it came to the play today but it really helped. You know Delmon [Young] had a big hit
for us today, obviously, and brought in some big runs in for us tonight. I though Ryan [Flaherty] had a great night at third
base.

On Chen matching Iwakumas performance tonight

You know weve faced a lot of good pitching on this road trip and were going to face some great pitching tomorrow night
so you know were going to have to get ready to be pitched some great games.
