Unfortunately, the study has been

misrepresented

 “The final answer”

 “Good news” – not a

problem

Credibility is now questioned

The question of Project Niagara traffic

impacts is far from settled

 How will traffic be

managed? Barricades?
Speed bumps?
 How many additional
vehicles will there be in Old
Town?
 Where will they park?
 What are the plans for
shuttles? Locations?
Traffic impacts?

What are the full impacts of Project Niagara traffic?

When and how will these questions be

answered?

 After approved?

 After funded?

 After opening day?

Hundreds of your constituents – and

many others - agree
We the undersigned are opposed
to the site proposed for the Petition signatories:
Project Niagara music festival.
We believe a music festival on  659 Old Town
the proposed site will: 1) cost too
much; 2) impact negatively on  185 Niagara Region
the environment; 3) impact the
quality of life of Niagara-on-the-  113 Rest of Canada
Lake residents; 4) impact
negatively on visitors. We
believe there must be a better
location for Project Niagara, one
that does not engender the
above issues. We would like to
see the site used in a way that is
more in keeping with its
environmental sensitivity and
heritage importance.

Our Position on Project Niagara

 Concerns are legitimate

 Burden of proof rests with

the proponents

 With satisfactory answers,

there is no basis for
opposition

 To ignore the questions is

to be reckless

The environment … our quality of life … cost
