Autodesk Inventor 6 Essentials Level I Course Outline



Overview

This course outline provides the list of topics and approximate delivery time for providing
instruction on how to use the basics of Autodesk Inventor 6. The materials provide
instruction for chapters one through six in the Autodesk Inventor 6 Essentials manual,
including electronic exercises that are referenced in the manual. It is a requirement for
this course that students use an Autodesk Inventor 6 Essentials manual.

Preparation for the instructor
Before the training event, complete the following checklist:
r Review the Instructors Guide for information on using the instructor resources.
r Verify all workstations have Autodesk Inventor 6 installed
r Verify all workstations have the Autodesk Inventor 6 Essentials Electronic Student
Workbook installed
r Verify all workstations have Internet access
r Verify all workstations have access to Autodesk Streamline

How to use the materials
The instructor materials include a course outline as a guide for managing the classroom training
event. To help you determine training priorities, the course outline provides a required list of
topics that must be covered for users who want to master Autodesk Inventor basics. The optional
column in the course outline highlights topics that you may find helpful if time is available and you
wish to cover some additional topics in more detail.
