Background:

As the years continue, the question of human life and the quality of life is asked. Many of
countries wanted to improve the human capital or the quality of life by the means of production,
innovation, growth of economy. Basically, human capital would be able to measure the value of
the countries in which the better the human capital, the better the country. However, for many
places such as the developing countries, they strive to increase human capital, but yet due to the
lack of the communication and cooperation in the economic prospect, many of the ideas and
plans are not able to succeed. This is due to problems regarding the environmental sector in
which many of the problems are due to the conflict of environmental protection versus resource
extraction. Although not identified by many countries, the reason why the developing countries
are doing so poorly, is because of the laws on environmental protection.
Past actions by UN and other international bodies:
The United Nations has tried to take many actions to improve human capital as it is a substantial
standard for all countries and is very important for the improvement of mankind. This has
included many different solutions such as providing brief economic aid in order to stimulate the
economy, however, it has not been working since it was not put into a correct direction.
Furthermore, most of the money is misdirected into another sense since other governments are
either corrupt, or do not have a good mindset for their country. The United Nations has also
included an 8 step plan for any outside workers in the countries such as protecting their rights.
Position of Country:
As a developing country, the nation of Zimbabwe greatly believes relieving the harms of the
decreasing human likelihood and has also pinpointed the problem on the environmental sector. In
order for this to happen, the nation of Zimbabwe believes that there should be laws on the
specific conflicting sectors in 3
rd
world countries such as Mining in Tanzania, Ghana, or even in
Zimbabwe itself. Since Mining is a national policy on the extraction sector in Zimbabwe, the
only way for Zimbabwe to really gain money is for it fully focus on extraction.
Possible Solutions:
In order for the Human Capital to rise, it takes the economy to rise. Therefore, the nation of
Zimbabwe urges other Developed countries to start a teaching program in which the more
professional people could teach the others how the system should work in order for them to
conserve more. This would provide the best benefit over all because it would allow them to focus
on improving human capital.
