Transpiration is the evaporation of water from a plant to the surrounding. The rate of
hanspiration is affected by environmental factors such as light intensity and relative
humidity.

A group of students carried out an experiment to investigate the effect of running at
different number of laps to the rate of heartbeats. A school athlete was asked to run around
the school field once. The time taken to obtain 30 heartbeats was recorded by counting his
pulse rate immediately after he had finished his running.
Selatmpulan pelajar telah menjalankan satu eluperimen untuk mengkaji kesan bilangan
pusingan larian terhadap kadar deryrutan

The experiment was repeated by the same athlete who ran at the same speed 2 and 3 laps of
the school field respectively.
Elrsperimen ini diulangi oleh atlit yang sqmo tetapi berlari dengan kelajuan yang sama
mengelilingi padang sekolah sebanyak 2 dan 3 pusingan.

2. The characteristics of water as a solvent make it easy to be polluted. Water
pollution is rnostly caused by the disposal of domestic, industrial and agricultural
wastes. The increase in the organic matter will increase the activities of the
decomposing microorganisms, hence a higher amount of dissolved oxygen is used
by these microorganisms.
