tional leaders to lead, support, and
strengthen the prayer ministries in
their congregation.

To equip and empower participants
to return to their congregations
with concrete ideas for strengthen-
ing and implementing prayer minis-
tries that serve the congregation
and reach out into the community.

Contact the Synod Office with the
name of your congregation, town,
and the names of those who will be
attending by August 1, 2014.
Lord, Teach Us To Pray..A Workshop in Prayer Evangelism
The Plan:
Pastors and lay leaders identify and
recruit 45 or more to attend this
event. It is encouraged, but not re-
quired, that the pastor be included in
this group of people.
The retreat will focus on prayer
evangelism from the perspectives of
personal prayer, corporate prayer,
and resources for congregations.



The Fee:
There is a $10 per person meal fee
for Fridays supper and Saturdays
continental breakfast and lunch.

We suggest that congregations pay
the meal fee and other expenses for
their participants to attend. We
request that each congregation have
a minimum of two participants.
