Job Title: Program Analyst, Reporting & Review Team

Location: Kurla East, Mumbai

About Pratham Institute: At Pratham Institute for Literacy, Education and Vocational Training, we
work across the country to provide individuals with the employability skills needed to address Indias
growing need for skilled manpower. Between now and 2025 over 250 million young people are
estimated to enter the Indian workforce, while only 5% of youth aged 20-24 have obtained
vocational skills through a formal training system. Prathams Youth Skilling Program was therefore
launched in 2005 with a mission to create sustainable programs for training and retraining of youth
for employability or entrepreneurship.

Our training centers are spread across 10 states in India. We have trained over 4,900 students till
date in various skills through our Industry specific courses in Hospitality, Construction, Automotive
and Bedside Assistance. We also run Entrepreneurship programs in Beauty and Tailoring to cater to
people who have an entrepreneurial mind set and want to set up their own practices. We have also
trained over 60,000 people in digital literacy through our Education for Education Program.
Pratham is a very dynamic place to work, so the person needs to be comfortable with working on a
number of different projects at the same time.

Main Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of this role is to support Program Management on various tasks. This
could include:
Preparing program budgets & maintaining cash flow sheets to gauge cost efficiency of
programs
Writing regular reports based on findings
Liaising with state representatives
Helping with implementing new programs (which would include analysing the programs
feasibility using basic financial and operational models)
Prepare funding request proposals and metrics reports and presenting to corporate
partners as and when required
Managing donor reports
Helping with implementing new programs, managing and scaling up existing programs
Qualification & Skills Required
Degree in any discipline
Strong Quantitative & Excel Skills
Should have fluency in English and good writing skills
Willingness to travel 3-10 days every month throughout India
Comfortable working with numbers and budgets and basic analysis
Willingness to adjust to different modes of transport (train, etc.) and staying conditions
because majority of travel would be in rural areas
Work in an entrepreneurial environment, so the ability to multi-task is a must
Date of Joining: As soon as possible
Remuneration: Rs 15,000- Rs 25,000 (based on prior experience)
