Alvar Aalto Collection 1936
Drawing inspiration from the beauty of the natural world, the undulating

collection includes his legendary vases, coordinating bowls, platters and

Revered as one of the greatest names in modern
architecture and design, Alvar Aalto redened Scandinavian
design in 1937 when he presented his vase collection at
the Paris World Exhibition. During his celebrated career,
Aalto designed a diverse range of buildings worldwide, such
as concert halls, libraries, hospitals, museums and private
homes, including the Villa Mairea.

Carambola
Professor Oiva Toikkas Birds embody Iittalas commitment to
craftsmanship and imagination, deviating from the streamlined
aesthetic of Scandinavian design in imaginative, rich and bold
ways. Each design incorporates new color combinations and
techniques for one-of-a-kind beauty that is collected by people
of rened taste worldwide.
The sculpturesque forms of Carambola vases owe their origins
to the exotic Carambola or starfruit. Carambola vases blend
utility with interior design, with their fundamental meaning
growing from beauty, the form of the pure white object and
translucence.
Professor Oiva Toikka is one of the most renowned names
in Finnish glass art. His style deviates from the streamlined
aesthetic of Scandinavian design in imaginative, rich and
bold ways, earning him international praise. He has won
some of the most prestigious design awards in the world,
including the Lunning Prize, Pro Finlandia Medal, World
Glass Now 85 Award, Kaj Franck Design Prize and the
Prince Eugen Medal.
Born in Helsinki, Finland, in 1943, Heikki Orvola is one of
the driving forces within Finnish design. He works in glass,
ceramics, cast iron and textiles. Orvola has worked for the
industrial art business, but he has also worked in a variety
of different materials as a form of pure, artistic expression.
During his career as a designer, Heikki Orvola has received
awards and prizes, including the Kaj Franck prize in 1998
perhaps Finlands most important design prize.

Nappula 2012
The Nappula candleholder was born when designer Matti Klenell
visited the Nuutajrvi glass museum and fell in love with an unusually
shaped table. Inspired by its distinctive design, he created a selection
of modern candleholders. Available in brass as well as selected
colors in powder coated steel, they combine his love of vintage and
modern forms. As well as being incredibly practical, theyre already
icons in the making.

Swedish Grace 2012
Louise Adelborg's service, with its wheat-ear pattern pressed in relief
into the surface, was presented at the Stockholm Exhibition of 1930.
She managed to convey the feeling of golden ears of wheat swaying in
the wind and the smell of freshly baked bread. The grain of corn can be
seen as a symbol of nourishment, prosperity and nature.

Adelborg came into contact with Rrstrand in 1916 and
began designing dcor. At the end of the 1920s, she began
tackling the design of dinner services. Her visual expression
was delicate, sober and consistent. Her slender, elegant
monogram has now become a symbol of Swedish Grace.

Special Order Items Policy:
Items are not stocked in the US and are placed by special order in Finland.
Pricing will be at 50% off of listed MRSP. No additional discounting, sales, promotions, or dating will apply.
Minimum order value at wholesale will be $300. Customers must be in good credit standing or the PO will not be accepted.
All orders must meet casepack quantities.
There will be no returns. Iittala customer service must be notied within 5 business days of receipt of damaged goods or shipment shortages.
In the event of damaged goods or shortages your account will be credited.
Procedure:
PO's are to be submitted to Iittalas customer service department by email, fax, or US Mail (same process as regular POs). Special order
products are to be written on their own PO do not include any regular assortment products on the same PO.
Customer will receive a PO conrmation when their PO is entered into the system (same process as regular POs).
Customer is responsible for freight from Vineland, NJ (same process as regular POs).
Customer will be invoiced when their shipment leaves Vineland, NJ (same process as regular POs).
Delivery time will normally be 12 weeks. This is not a guarantee.
Customer Service will not have availability or order status until the orders arrive in Vineland, NJ.
