University Entrance Examination Requirements


For Freshmen Students
Upon application for University Entrance Examination (UEE), student applicants shall
be required to submit the following:
Four (4) pieces of 2x2 ID picture
Photocopy of Form 138
Php400 Entrance Examination Fee
Schedule of University Entrance Examination (UEE)

ADMISSION GUIDELINES FOR INCOMING FRESHMEN BATCH
2014APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:
1. Completely filled-out Application form.
2 pcs. ID picture (plain background), size 1 x 1

Additional Requirements:
For applicants from schools in the Philippines or schools abroad under DepEd
(graduation year is 2014):
Photocopy of any of the following (whichever is available)
4th year HS Report Card
Certificate of Good Moral Character (with school year)
Certificate of Candidacy for Graduation
Additional requirements for foreign nationals:
Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR) or Special Study Permit (SSP)
Original and photocopy of Passport

The Admissions Office will start accepting applicants for Batch 2015 on July 21, 2014.
Interested applicants may click here for the admissions requirements. Submit the
application requirements together with the completely accomplished application form at
least two (2) weeks before your desired examination date. Entrance Examinations are
held in Intramuros and Makati Campuses.

General Guidelines
1. Only candidates for high school graduation of the current school year are
qualified to take the University of Santo Tomas Entrance Test (USTET).
2. The following applicants must secure clearance from the UST Office of the
Registrar before submitting their Application and Grades Form:

2.1 Passers of the Philippine Educational Placement Test (PEPT) and the
Non-Formal Education
Accreditation and Equivalency (NFEA&E)
2.2 Applicants who are graduates of previous school years
2.3 Candidates for graduation from foreign schools
*Application Fee for Filipinos - PhP 1,000.00
*Application Fee for Foreigners - PhP 1,500.00
2.4 Foreigners graduating from local schools
*Application Fee - PhP 1,000.00

Please bring original academic records, certification for passing
PEPT/NFEA&E, and alien certificate of registration papers, or
passport, when applicable.
3. Only the School Registrar or Principal may certify the High School Grades
Form.
4. For validation, the school seal should be affixed to the High School Grades
Form. In the absence of a school seal, a clear photocopy of Form 137A
(Transcript of Records) may be attached to the document.
5. Metro Manila applicants are strongly advised to deposit their non-
refundable application fee (Php 500.00) in cash at any Metrobank branch,
or online at http://www.metrobankdirect.com. Payments will not be accepted
at the Office for Admissions (OFAD).
6. Applicants who wish to take the USTET in their provinces should submit
the accomplished Application and Grades Form and payment to the nearest
Testing Center.
7. A downloadable test permit will only be issued to applicants three (3)
working days after paying the application fee. You can download your
test permit at the Freshmen Admission Account by using your reference
number.
8. To avoid problems in the release of your USTET results, please forward the
complete set of documents to the Office for Admissions (OFAD)
personally or through any courier service.
9. Passing the USTET is not the sole basis for admission to some colleges. A
second screening is required by the College of Nursing and the College of
Tourism & Hospitality Management in the form of an interview, the
Conservatory of Music requires an audition, the College of Architecture and
the College of Fine Arts & Design require an artwork rendition.
10. Please take note of the USTET schedules and their corresponding deadlines
for the payment of the non-refundable application fee (Php 500.00) at any
Metrobank branch and submission of documents (ONLY FOR METRO
MANILA APPLICANTS):

11. Applicants are advised to visit the OFAD website (ofad.ust.edu.ph) and Activity
Log every Friday for any
announcement.
12. USTET Results will be released online on January 28, 2015 at ofad.ust.edu.ph.
Application fees of high school candidates for graduation belonging to the TOP 5 of
their batch (based on the third year final grading period) may be waived upon
personally submitting the certification from the high school principal indicating their
academic standing.
This applies only to candidates coming from the public schools.
