BCM Events (at EKU)
Move-In Mania - Friday, August 15
Midnight Pancakes - Saturday, August 16, Midnight - 2 am, BCM Building. If
you would like to help serve, let Dwayne know. Great way to meet students!
BCM Progressive Dinner, Monday, August 25 ~ (Hosting the dessert portion)
Students will arrive at 7:30 pm. We need 7 people to provide brownies. Also need
several people to be here at 7:00 pm to be ready to greet and host. Sign up at FLC.
The Bridge, 2nd & 4th Sunday nights at the Petersons (1230 Forest Lane, Richmond)
at 8:15 pm. Begins on August 24. Discussion based Bible study covering topics
relevant to the lives of college-age students. Also open to high school seniors.
Passion Conference, January 2-4, 2015, Atlanta, GA. Cost: $139 plus $75 for hotel.
Deadline (at this price): Sunday, August 31. All that is due by August 31 is a $50 non-
refundable deposit; the remaining balance will be due by November 23. If you would
like to go, let Dwayne know.
Youth Choir: If you are interested in being part of a youth choir, please sign up on the
youth board, located between FLC 118 and 119. If there is enough interest, it will begin in
late August/early September.
Wednesday, August 13 - Community Youth Worship at Lake Reba, Shelter C, 6:30 -
8:00 pm. Incoming 6th graders are invited to join us. Vans will leave church at 6:10 pm.
Family Cook-Out, Sunday, August 17, following 10:45 am worship service, behind
HRIVE HRIVE HRIVE HRIVE Room. Food and games. Parent meeting begins at 2:00 pm. Child-care
provided. Must RSVP by Sunday, August 10. Important for new and current youth parents.
HRIVE HRIVE HRIVE HRIVE Worship resumes Wednesday, August 20, 6:30 - 8:00 pm.
CONVERGE (For incoming 6th, 7th and 8th Graders) - Friday, August 22, 6 - 9 pm,
at the farm of Lee and Nikki Harvey, off Colonel Rd, at the back of Lexington Heights
Subdivision, sign at top of hill ~ Canon Dr; that road takes you down to the farm. (Nikkis
phone: 779-0283.) Games, bon-fire, roast hot dogs, and s-mores.

The time has arrived to begin scheduling your directory photo sessions. If you have a home
phone, you will soon receive a phone call from Pastor Deron urging you to sign up for
your portrait session. Those using cell phones only and no home phone will not receive
the reminder calls. All scheduling will be done on-line. Just go to the church website:
www.redhousebaptist.com and click on Sign Up Now! Schedule for either Aug. 28-30
or Sept 15-18. If you do not have home internet connections, directory team members will
have a computer at the welcome center before and after services on Aug. 17

If you prefer to submit a photo, there will be a $10 charge, payable to the church. If you
have a family member or someone close to you who is an active member of the military,
you may submit a photo at no cost. If you have questions, please contact Dave Dailey at

photo sessions.)

We will also be taking Sunday School class pictures on Aug. 17th & 24th. So if you have
to miss any Sunday, don't miss those days.
