This much anticipated event is scheduled for June 26 - 28, 2015. Many thanks to Susan Ozoa and family for setting up the Ozoa Reunion Facebook site, and newsletters. And many thanks to Erwin Ozoa who liked the idea of having a reunion so much that he personally contributed $1000 to make sure it happens. Their e!orts generated much momentum, and it is in this spirit that we gather to make some decisions today. NOTE: The meeting will be limited to no more than ONE HOUR after lunch. Review It was previously decided that: the event would be held over a 3 day weekend: June 26 - 28, 2015 the beach event would be held at Ali`i Beach Park in Hale`iwa we should establish an Ozoa Reunion Fund Thanks to Erwin Ozoa, there is a start up fund of $1000. The amount was deposited into a checking account with HawaiiUSA Federal Credit Union. Two signatures are required to write a check. The designated signers are: Doreen Johnson and Cyndy Sumbad. Purpose of this meeting Decide what we want to see happen on each of the three days; initiate discussions regarding T-Shirts and need for fundraising. Please Note: decisions are NOT set-in-stone and are subject to change. They meant to serve as guidelines for budgeting, fundraising and other planning purposes. Friday, June 26 Suggestions: First Cousins Dinner (individuals pay their own); Karaoke Night (open to all; individuals pay own); Banquet for all (who pays?) Saturday, June 27 Distribution of Reunion T-Shirts; Family Fun Day at Ali`i Beach Park in Hale`iwa; Getting-to-Know-You Activities; Entertainment (sing, dance, etc.); Special Activities for Children (Bouncy house & ball pit, magic show, clown, face painting); Other games (egg/spoon race, water balloon toss, donut on a string, sack race, etc.) NOTE: Need individuals to take care of di!erent activities.
