This document provides a standard operating procedure for starting up the hydraulic oil pump system of a 384 MW combined cycle power plant. The procedure involves:
1) Opening various valves to line up the hydraulic pumps and accumulator;
2) Normalizing the hydraulic pump power supply module per electrical procedures;
3) Verifying start permissives such as hydraulic pump suction pressure;
4) Performing pre-start checks of pumps, pressures, and valves;
5) Starting one hydraulic pump via the DCS and observing normal operation of pressures and pumps.
