The 831CII is an ADSL2+ modem with four Ethernet
interfaces. It is used for broadband access and IPTV
service at home. The integration of TR-069 technologies
facilitates the automatic installation and automatic
provisioning of services.
Highlights:
The 831CII supports ADSL2+ high speed access and is
backward compatible with ADSL2 and ADSL. With speed
up to 24Mbps (ADSL2+) or 12Mbps (ADSL2), the 831CII
offers higher data transfer rates and better bandwidth than
traditional ADSL gateways. Users can enjoy broadband
multimedia applications much easier than before.
The QoS features of the 831CII enable service providers to
design QoS policies and prioritize mission-critical services
such as IPTV and VoIP freely based on their individual service
plans. This in turn allows service providers to deliver real
multi-play applications to users and increase network
efficiency.

With support for IPv6/IPv4 Dual Stack, the 831CII helps
operators and end users to achieve a future-proof network
with smooth evolution.
IPv6 Capability
The 831CII works with TR-069 standard management
specifications, allowing remote management & diagnosis,
reducing the manpower needed for on-site maintenance
personnel, and increasing CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index).
This unique feature not only offers users a true "plug-and-
play" experience but also reduces deployment complexity,
thereby saving operation and maintenance costs.
Robust TR-069 Remote Management
With advanced firewall features including Stateful Packet
Inspection, anti-DoS and VPN pass-though, the 831CII can
prevent potential attacks from across the Internet.
Furthermore, the 831CII supports various access control
functions such as IP/MAC/URL filtering and start time/end
time/duration of access, so parents and network
administrators can set different access policies for children or
staff.
