LESSON PLAN FOR ENGLISH LANGUAGE YEAR 3 - KSSR

Year : 3 Pintar
Date and Day : 22nd August 2013 and Thursday
Time :8.45am until 9.45 am (1 hour)
Theme : World of Self, Family and Friends
Topic : Pets World
Focused Skill : Grammar
Content Standards :
5.1 By the end of the 6 year primary schooling pupils will be able to use the
different word classes correctly and appropriately.
Learning Standards :
5.1.3 Able to use verbs correctly and appropriately:
Objectives : By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to
1. show correct gestures or actions to describe the verb.
2. pronounce the verbs correctly.
Vocabulary : hops, eats, lay, climbs, sleeps, rabbit, cow, tortoise,
parrot and cat
Moral Values : Confidence and love for animals
Teaching Aids : Realia - rabbit, Video of pets doing the actions with the
simple sentence, numbered pencils to form groups,
coloured envelope containing the sentence strips of animal
characteristics and actions, sticker and word search.
Thinking Skills : Generalise ideas.
