Extended abstracts on the related topics are invited by e-mail.

The
abstract should be limited to two A4 size pages including figures,
tables and references. The abstract should be in MS word with single
spacing, 12 font sizes in Times New Roman. The author should men-
tion their affiliation, address for communication including phone/fax
numbers and e-mail address. After assessing the abstract, authors will
be requested to submit full paper as per the conference format after
provisional acceptance of abstract.

Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology,
Gorakhpur has been established in year 2013 by the
Government of Uttar Pradesh in the form of a non-
affiliating, teaching and research University after
reconstituting the Madan Mohan Malaviya Engi-
neering College, Gorakhpur which was established
in 1962 The University runs Graduate and Post
Graduate level courses in all emerging areas of En-
gineering and Management. The organization has
faculty well exposed to the cutting edge technolo-
gies in their respective areas.


The department of Civil Engineering was estab-
lished in 1962. The Civil Engineering Department
has, over the years, established its status as a center
for imparting high quality technical education to
undergraduate and post-graduate students and con-
sultancy to industries and various central and state
government departments located in Eastern U.P. to
keep abreast of the technological developments. The
existing infrastructure is being modernized con-
stantly.

Besides the undergraduate courses this department
has regular Postgraduate M.Tech. courses in 'Hill
Area Development Engineering' ,'Environmental
Engineering', Structural Engineering and Seismic
Design and Earthquake Engineering.

The Civil Engineering Department is actively in-
volved in testing & consultancy services. A number
of sponsored projects are also in hand in Civil Engi-
neering Department.

The department has experienced and highly quali-
fied faculty members.

About the Conference
Civil Engineering Department of Madan Mohan Malaviya Uni-
versity of Technology (Formerly Madan Mohan Malaviya En-
gineering College) , Gorakhpur is organizing a Civil Engineer-
ing Conference-Innovation without limits, RACE-14 during
MARCH 24-25, 2014. We look forward to your active participa-
tion and support in making this conference a big success.
Civil Engineers play a major role in the innovative infrastruc-
ture development of a country. All structures constructed in the
past exhibit the path of civilization and current infrastructure
development express the practice followed by civil engineers.
Researchers are working on the expansion of the knowledge of
materials, analysis, design and construction practices. Materials,
computational methods, GIS and advanced testing methods are
some of the areas where updating of knowledge is required.
Therefore, an attempt has been made to bring researchers, acad-
emicians, practicing engineers, consulting engineers, owner and
construction managers, government officials in the decision
making, public and private contractors, equipment & products
suppliers, as well as, all those involved with the works related
to Civil Engineering Conference-(Innovation without limits),
together on a single platform to discuss various issues.
