Expression of interest in teaching

The Bartlett Development Planning Unit

Name: Mr Francisco Vergara Perucich / francisco.vergara.12@ucl.ac.uk / 07745968713
Teaching that I like to be involved

There is four modules that I feel I could be useful as part of the staff:

BENVGBU8 Critical Urbanism Studio I: I attended this module with high grades. My experience
as practitioner, student and academic may be helpful to share with master students.

BENVGBU3: Building and Urban Design Practice: I attended this module with high grades, and
understanding the deep process beneath the way how BUDD staff tries to deliver the knowledge.
The mixture between unlearning, theoretical exploration, understanding the richness of conflict,
and assuming an empirical positioning make me grow as practitioner. My experience in the
module and as practitioner might be important to share as part of the staff.

BENVGBU1: Transforming Local Areas: Urban Design for Development: I attended this module
and it was difficult to me due to it was my first term studying in english. However, from this first
term I got many tools and new questions that pushed me into apply to do a PhD in DPU. Firstly
the module was a complication, but then it become a motivation to question my discipline.
