PLC BASED CONTROL SYSTEMS

A Program Logic Controller is an integral digital computers used for control of Electro
mechanical devices such as control of industrial machinery, pumps, lightning etc. A plc will
be connected to inputs in real time based on the logic Stored in it and switches the output
ON or OFF.
It consists of two basic sections-i/o interface systems, central processing system.
CPU consists of three components.

1) The processor
2) The memory system
3) The power supply

PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE:

The Pressure Relief Valve (PRV) is a type of valve used to control or limit the pressure
in a system or vessel which can build up by a process upset, instrument or equipment
failure, or fire. Pressure Relief Valve is a safety device designed to protect a pressurized
vessel or system during an overpressure event. An overpressure event refers to any
condition which include beyond the specified design pressure or maximum allowable
working pressure (MAWP).
